[PLUGIN] ImageDL v1.3 (24/06/2112)

Since there was an interest in a stand alone plugin for downloading the images, I have decided to give everyone access to my ImageDL Plugin.

If your like me, I prefer to only have active, plugins that are being used. Thus speeding up the bot, by not running code that really does nothing.

This Plugin accomplishes the goal as the Image Downloader contained in the Multi Plugin.

Code was originally extracted from the Multi Plugin, but I have rewritten most of the code to be faster and more efficient.

With this plugin active, there is no need to have the Multi plugin active in order to download the latest image files for use in other plugins.

v1.1
Added item name to log output of images downloaded.
Added pictures of the last images downloaded.

*Note: There will be no pictures until the bot downloads new images. To test, delete a few files from the assets directory, press 'Reset Images' and run bot. Refresh the ImageDL Plugin and you should see the pictures of the Images you deleted. (Remember, the more files you delete, the longer it will take to re-download them.)

Fix issue with plugins not being able to find the images.

v1.3
Fixed hook so images are downloaded after the database has been created.
Database now keeps original Revision of when an image was first downloaded (tnx albertos).
Fixed issue with spaces being in file names. (url is encoded to deal with any special charactars).
Added counter showing how many more images need to be downloaded.

great, tried it and its really good, the log was a lot cleaner coz it doesn't show the URL of the downloaded images and download was faster too.......
just one suggestion, in the log, it show 'icon.png' at the end of code of every image, can it be done like multi plugin, under which it just showed the code of images, without the end part????

Are you referring to the item name instead of the file name?

This plugin does not store any data in the db, so I would have to save the info about the latest images downloaded some how.....

Let me think of an easy and efficient way to do so.

I'll see what I can do.

actually I meant changing this line:

It as come to my attention that this plugin is not updating the database correctly, and therefore other plugins are not able to find the images.

v1.2 corrects this problem.

thanks nice plugin would like if it had collection feature of multi plugin as multi plugin is kind of slow....or a separate plugin to trade collection items.

working perfectly now, that glass door image is now downloaded correctly...
and must say, the addition of the $Total string in hook, that displays the consecutive numbers with each image, it looks very good....
